Batch 160: El Capitan

A tulip glass of golden beer with frothy head and brewery logo.

Inspiration

Triple IPA

Technical Specs

ABV 11.0%  |  SRM 3 |  IBU 70 | OG 22.0 | FG 2.0

Brewer's Notes

Named after one of the more challenging hikes in San  Diego County, El Cajon Mountain in El Capitan Preserve, this beer is big  and bold.

We added a variety of hops (Idaho 7, Comet and Cascade), all  from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. These hops bring flavors of  orange, pineapple, mango. The high alcohol adds to the body and provides  a pleasant warming finish.
