Sometimes we take our beers to the extreme. Over a third of the recipe has roasted oats and toasted rye. This made for LONG and challenging day on the brewhouse, but it was worth the effort! Both ingredients give this beer a silky smooth texture, which helps to balance out the astringency provided by the deep roasted malts. Coffee and dark chocolate dominate the flavors of this delicious Stout.
