The foundation of this beer was built by sustainably farmed barley grown in central California. We blended in honey malt from Briess and dark crystal malt from Proximity, which gives this beer pleasant notes of toasted bread and pie crust. Saaz hops from Elk Mountain Farms in Idaho bring a pleasant sizzle to the mouth and finishes with hints of orange peel. This beer has a wonderful light ruby hue, reminding us of our favorite hikes in the morning during sunrise.
